Lord Transform Me/Total Member Involvement 2019

 Theme:           Holistic Health for Personal and National transformation

Objectives:

  1. To have all the members of the Church experience and live the transformed lifestyle through the power of the Holy Spirit
  2. To have all members of the Church involved in fulfilling the Mission of the Church by connecting socially with Non-Adventists and unchurched people through compassion and care ministries.
  3. To Share the love of Christ with those needing a more intimate relationship with Him and secure decisions for the kingdom and increased Church growth.

 

Six major activities involved in the LTM/TMI Impact 2019

  1. Conduct Health Expo on February 7, 2019 across the Division territory with numerous Health Expo Sites in each of the Cities of the Division
  2. Work along with the various Ministries of the Church, (Children, Youth, Women, Personal Ministries (men), Family, Education and Public Campus Ministries) to develop and initiate Health and other social community Projects to prepare the fields for Evangelistic reaping.
  3. Conduct Evangelistic Reaping Campaigns.
  4. Participate in the One-hour Health Seminar for various sector of society to be conducted Monday to Friday, February 4-8, 2019 as outlined below.
  5. Disseminate eight 15 minutes health nuggets to be presented in all the evangelistic campaigns each night during the week of February 2-9, 2019.
  6. LTM/TMI Convention on February 9, 2019.

Implementation Priorities

  1. Children Ministries
    1. Determine the number of Adventist children in the Church/Pastoral District/Conference/Union/Division.
    2. Determine projects or initiatives relevant and practical for each local geographical community within the territory to address existing health or other social need.
    3. Work along with the health ministries and health institutions to develop the relevant health initiatives or projects to be executed by Children to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    4. Collaborate with other ministries where necessary to develop other social initiatives or projects to be executed by the children to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    5. Recruit and train children to participate in the execution of each of the social projects.
    6. Select appropriate bible lessons and train the children to administer them to non-Adventists and un-churched people.
    7. Establish a goal of the number of children Bible studies to be executed within a given time frame.
    8. Determine the number of Children Evangelistic campaigns to be conducted within a given time frame.
    9. Recruit and train (where necessary) preachers for each Child Evangelistic campaign.
    10. Set a goal for the desired number of social projects, bible studies and baptisms to be achieved through Children Ministries within a determined time frame.
    11. Conduct the number of evangelistic reaping campaigns as determined.
    12. A 15 minutes health presentation shall be presented in all the evangelistic campaigns that will be held at nights as part of the Lord Transform Me Total Member Involvement initiative.
    13. Utilize the attached project form to aid in the development and execution of each social project.
    14. Prepare a general report based on the foregoing for the higher organization.
  1. Youth Ministries
    1. Determine the number of Adventist youth in the Church/Pastoral District/Conference/Union/Division.
    2. Determine projects or initiatives relevant and practical for each local geographical community within the territory to address existing health or other social need.
    3. Work along with the health ministries, personal ministries and health institutions to develop the relevant health initiatives or projects to be executed by the young people to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    4. Collaborate with other ministries where necessary to develop other social initiatives or projects to be executed by the young people to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    5. Recruit and train young people to participate in the execution of each of the social projects.
    6. Select appropriate bible lessons and train the young people to administer them to non-Adventists and un-churched people.

  1. Women Ministries
    1. Determine the number of Adventist women in the Church/Pastoral District/Conference/Union/Division.

    3. Work along with the health ministries, and health institutions to develop the relevant health initiatives or projects to be executed by the men/laity to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    4. Collaborate with other ministries where necessary to develop other social initiatives or projects to be executed by men/laity to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    5. Recruit and train men/laity to participate in the execution of each of the social projects.
    6. Select appropriate bible lessons and train the men/laity to administer them to non-Adventists and un-churched people.
    7. Establish a goal of the number of Bible studies to be executed by the men/laity within a given time frame.
    8. Determine the number of men/laity evangelistic campaigns to be conducted within a given time frame.
    9. Recruit and train (where necessary) preachers for each evangelistic campaign.
    10. Set a goal for the desired number of social projects, bible studies and baptisms to be achieved through personal ministries within a determined time frame.
    11. Conduct the number of evangelistic reaping campaigns as determined.

    3. Work along with the health ministries, personal ministries and health institutions to develop the relevant health initiatives or projects to be executed by Adventist families to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    4. Collaborate with other ministries where necessary to develop other social initiatives or projects to be executed by the Adventist Family Ministries to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    5. Recruit and train couples to participate in the execution of each of the social projects.
    6. Select appropriate bible lessons and train the couples to administer them to non-Adventists and un-churched people.
    7. Establish a goal of the number of Bible studies to be executed Adventist Couples within a given time frame.
    8. Determine the number of family ministries evangelistic campaigns to be conducted within a given time frame.
    9. Recruit and train (where necessary) preachers for each family ministries evangelistic campaign.
    10. Set a goal for the desired number of social projects, bible studies and baptisms to be achieved through families ministries within a determined time frame.
    11. Conduct the number of evangelistic reaping campaigns as determined

  1. Education Department
    1. Determine the number of Adventist students and teachers in the School/Conference/Union/Division.
    2. Determine projects or initiatives relevant and practical for each local geographical community within the territory to address existing health or other social need.
    3. Work along with the health ministries, personal ministries and health institutions to develop the relevant health initiatives or projects to be executed by Adventist families to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    4. Collaborate with other ministries where necessary to develop other social initiatives or projects to be executed by the Education Ministry to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    5. Recruit and train teachers and students to participate in the execution of each of the social projects.
    6. Select appropriate bible lessons and train the teachers and students to administer them to non-Adventists and un-churched people.
    7. Establish a goal of the number of Bible studies to be executed through teachers and students within a given time frame.
    8. Determine the number of evangelistic initiatives to be conducted by teachers and students within a given time frame.
    9. Recruit and train (where necessary) preachers for each evangelistic initiative.
    10. Set a goal for the desired number of social projects, bible studies and baptisms to be achieved through Education ministries within a determined time frame.
    11. Conduct the number of evangelistic reaping initiatives as determined
    12. A 15 minutes health presentation shall be presented in all the evangelistic campaigns that will be held at nights as part of the Lord Transform Me Total Member Involvement initiative.

  1. Public Campus Ministries
    1. Determine the number of Adventist University students in the Church/Pastoral District/Conference/Union/Division/Institution.
    2. Determine projects or initiatives relevant and practical for each local geographical community within the territory to address existing health or other social need.
    3. Work along with the health ministries, personal ministries and health institutions to develop the relevant health initiatives or projects to be executed by the University students to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    4. Collaborate with other ministries where necessary to develop other social initiatives or projects to be executed by the University students to address the existing social needs within the territory.
    5. Recruit and train University students to participate in the execution of each of the social projects.
    6. Select appropriate bible lessons and train the University students to administer them to non-Adventists and un-churched people.
    7. Establish a goal of the number of Bible studies to be executed by University students within a given time frame.
    8. Determine the number of youth evangelistic campaigns to be conducted within a given time frame.
    9. Recruit and train (where necessary) preachers for each evangelistic campaign.
    10. Set a goal for the desired number of social projects, bible studies and baptisms to be achieved through Public Campus Ministries within a determined time frame.
    11. Conduct the number of evangelistic reaping campaigns as determined.
    12. A 15 minutes health presentation shall be presented in all the evangelistic campaigns that will be held at nights as part of the Lord Transform Me Total Member Involvement initiative.
    13. Utilize the attached project form to aid in the development and execution of each social project.
    14. Prepare a general report based on the foregoing for the higher organization.

Other Matters for Consideration:

  1. Every member of the Church should be involved in this special impact, utilizing their varying professional and vocational skills, spiritual gifts, talent, interests, passion and other resources.
  2. The Health Message should be used as the entering wedge in preparation for the proclamation of the gospel.
  3. Health emphases should be conducted simultaneously in varying urban areas across the Division territory to reach people at the highest level of society as part of the proclamation of the gospel.
  4. A series of one hour seminars may be held for those with leading roles in society as set out in the table below.
  5. With this concept, we will not only be reaching the members of the Church but will reach persons of the upper class of society with the Health message and principally, those in influential positions in society.

The table below outlines the schedule for Health Seminars to reach the highest level of society as an entering wedge for our evangelistic program.

  1. A Division-wide LTM/TMI Convention will be held on Sabbath February 9, 2019 that congregates thousands of members for the following:
  2. Worship the Lord and acknowledge His goodness
  3. Conduct mega baptisms from each of the campaign and social impact sites

iii.        Receive reports on the Lord Transform Me Total Member Involvement social and evangelistic initiatives

 

  1. Healthy lifestyle Units should be established across towns and principal to provide models of healthy living exhibitions and attend to primary health care needs

 

  1. Interviews on national radio and television should be scheduled to report on the health and other social impact initiatives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to transform personal lived and the society at large.
